The JRD Real Estate division focuses on land and residential development. It brings together experts in working with land units and urban development, who are involved in land acquisition, land consolidation and subdivision, zoning plan amendments or sale of building plots. The selected plots are then used for the construction of environmentally friendly housing with a healthy indoor environment, which JRD has been doing for twenty years and is currently the market leader in this field.
Key to the division is the use of the latest technology and renewable energy, the gentle integration of the project into the site, the promotion of community life and an emphasis on healthy lifestyles.
JRD Energo prepares, realises and operates modern energy projects. It has a team of experienced specialists in technical matters, management, project leadership and structured finance. The projects are selected and realised always with regard to sustainable development and the environment. The division has built up a portfolio of photovoltaic power plants with an output of over 40 MWp in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary and also has the second largest wind power plant park in the Czech Republic with an installed capacity of 26 MW. Additional dozens of MWs of output in solar, wind and hydroelectric sources are currently in various stages of preparation. An additional focus of the division is modern energy solutions for development projects in the JRD GROUP. The aim of JRD Energo is to supply smart energy with the smallest possible environmental footprint.
Millenium Technologies focuses on delivering solutions making use of plasma gasification technology, as an effective, environmentally-friendly and quite safe method of waste processing. Thanks to extreme temperatures, plasma gasification technology can effectively transform various types of inputs of raw materials—including biomass, wastewater treatment sludge, non-recyclable plastics, industrial waste, hospital and hazardous waste—to produce electricity and heat energy or valuable materials for further use, e.g. hydrogen or synthetic gas, which could be a replacement for natural gas. Gasification is not incineration, the facilities are compact and the process does not have any emissions. For the disposal of hazardous waste directly in the affected locations the company offers a unique mobile solution called Microplasma. Plasma gasification is a modern and effective method of waste processing and is environmentally friendly.
JRD Invest focuses on the acquisition and management of revenue-generating properties
in cooperation with private and institutional investors. The company’s portfolio consist of
properties intended for rental accommodation that are built by the
sister-company JRD Development, as well as some office and retail spaces.
JRD Invest operates in accordance with the philosophy of the whole JRD GROUP and invests
in properties that are passive or low-energy and environment friendly.
